This is what the book jacket says about Next - but the part that intrigued me the most was the author's disclaimer on the inside cover, "This book is fiction, except for the parts that aren't." I read a similar book about bioethics a couple of years ago that was just as frightening. It is hard to discern the truth from the hype. However, if even half of the information out there is based on truth then we live in frightening times... This book is a quick, interesting read. I recommend it for the thrill but also for the provocative insights into what seems to be happening in our scientific world. The real kicker is that the author lists plenty of websites and documentation at the end of the book encouraging the reader to investigate further. This book is fiction, except for the parts that aren't!
